This is a copy of events reported to have occurred in December of 2010 in the vicinity of Abiquiu lake.
The epicenter depth is estimated at 5 kilometers.
Horizontally, this is reminiscent of the distance from proposed oil and gas leasing to the major fault running along Hwy 112, from a few miles south of El Vado Lake and continuing all the way down the Principal New Mexico Meridian to Bernalillo County.
An injection well in the vicinity of the proposed leasing along Hwy 112, T26N-R01E, ceased injections about 5 months before this recorded seismic event.
